Harrison Preschool provides a play-based approach to school readiness that is focused on the development of the whole child. Languages spoken in this classroom include English, Spanish and Mam. This classroom will serve the needs of children who are emerging bilingual and trilingual students. Our qualified teaching staff create learning experiences that focus on children’s social emotional, academic, physical and creative development, in partnership with families. We are part of Harrison Elementary School, which is a public school in Cottage Grove, Oregon. This classroom will be supported by staff from our family resource center as we meet the needs of students and families.

9:15-10:15: Recess/P.E.– Outdoor gross motor play; structured P.E. activities (w/P.E. teacher 30 min. Tues/Thurs)
10:15-10:30: Circle Time – Theme-related whole group lesson/activity
10:30-10:45: Small Groups – Small group instruction (math/literacy/STEAM/fine motor)
10:45-11:45: Choice Time – Free choice activities in centers
