This resource guide includes organizations in Lane County that work with youth facing challenges and barriers in their lives. The guide is designed to help youth navigate these resources and connect with various organizations. It includes housing information, places to find food and medical support, as well as help for anyone experiencing a crisis.

Grassroots, confidential, peer-led mental health organization offering support, education, and advocacy services in Lane County at no cost to the participant.

StartYourRecovery.org provides helpful information for people who are dealing with substance use issues — and their family members, friends, and co-workers, too. We know that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the challenges faced by those who misuse alcohol, prescription or illegal drugs, or other substances, and we aim to break through the clutter to help people at any stage of recovery.

The Early Childhood Hub of Lane County
The Early Childhood Hub of Lane County is here to help you with the joys and challenges of raising a child. They are your local hub for parenting & caregiving help, early learning resources, and your guide to the community’s free or low-cost opportunities for play and learning. They work with schools, social services agencies, and other community partners to gather evidence-based parenting education opportunities and activities for all families. They also offer a calendar of local events for children and families in Lane County and a monthly newsletter (sign up here).

Lane County’s housing agency works to help low-income residents with the logistics of affordable housing. At a higher level, we are neighbors united to get every Lane County resident who needs help, into a home.
Lane County System of Care (SOC)
The SOC brings the community together to support children, youth, and families. The SOC compensates youth and family representatives for their participation in committee work that is done in partnership with community partners. The SOC’s barrier resolution process allows children, youth, family, and the people who serve them to bring attention to a system issue and work collaboratively with community partners to resolve the barrier.
