Family Support and Mental Health Support Organizations

Peer Organizations: LILA – Lane Independent Living Alliance, NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness, Oregon Family Support Network, Youth ERA

Lane County System of Care (SOC): The SOC brings the community together to support children, youth, and families. The SOC compensates youth and family representatives for their participation in committee work that is done in partnership with community partners. The SOC’s barrier resolution process allows children, youth, family, and the people who serve them to bring attention to a system issue and work collaboratively with community partners to resolve the barrier.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Lane County: Grassroots, confidential, peer-led mental health organization offering support, education, and advocacy services in Lane County at no cost to the participant.

Food Access

FOOD for Lane County: Information on food pantries, meal sites, Trillium Produce Plus programs, Summer Food sites. Call or complete the self-referral form on the Get Help page to request info about where to access food, when, and what to expect. 

Housing Resources

Homes for Good: Lane County’s housing agency works to help low-income residents with the logistics of affordable housing. At a higher level, we are neighbors united to get every Lane County resident who needs help, into a home.

Recovery Resources

Start Your Recovery: StartYourRecovery.org provides helpful information for people who are dealing with substance use issues — and their family members, friends, and co-workers, too. We know that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the challenges faced by those who misuse alcohol, prescription or illegal drugs, or other substances, and we aim to break through the clutter to help people at any stage of recovery.

15th Night Resource Guide: This resource guide includes organizations in Lane County that work with youth facing challenges and barriers in their lives. The guide is designed to help youth navigate these resources and connect with various organizations. It includes housing information, places to find food and medical support, as well as help for anyone experiencing a crisis.
