Poster Contest Winners

LaneKids is excited to present the winners of their 2013 Poster Contest, held in celebration of Oregon Parenting Education Week, May 19-25.  The winners were chosen from more than 50 entries sent in by children from across the county.  These children created their posters using the theme “I know my parents love me because…” 

First Place : Keysi from Buena Vista Elementary, Age 10

Keysi  wins a $50 gift certificate to Toys R US.  She knows her parents love her because “they go to the park and have picnics.”

Second Place: Anahi from Buena Vista Elementary, Age 6

Anahi wins a $25 gift certificate from The Dancing Weasel Toy Store.  She knows her parents love her because they “hug me and read to me.”

Third Place had a tie:  Jarett from Bertha Holt Elementary, Age 10 and Victoria from Buena Vista Elementary, Age 6.  Jarett and Victoria will each receive a $20 gift certificate from The Dancing Weasel Toy Store.  Jarett’s parents show their love by cooking for him and Victoria’s parents look at rainbows with her.
