Family Relief Nursery

Get support for your family and help your child grow and learn.

Family Relief Nursery offers home visits, parent classes, and services for families with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Staff can help you build parenting skills, lower stress, and create routines that work for your family.

You can get help with diapers, clothing, food, and other basic needs. The program also offers transportation for children, emergency respite care, and connections to local services.

Services are free and may be available in English and Spanish.

Fern Ridge Family Resource Center

What This Organization Does

The Fern Ridge Family Resource Center supports you through parent education, early learning activities, and connections to resources that help your family thrive.

You can participate in parent education groups, activities for your children, and a parenting book lending library to build skills, strengthen family relationships, and support your child’s growth and development.

You can also get basic needs support, including free diapers and pull-ups through the Lane County Diaper Bank, clothing for babies through teens, free baby items, and lactation support and supplies for families with infants.

Staff help you connect with local resources and services while providing a welcoming place where you can feel supported, confident, and connected to your community.

Head Start of Lane County

Head Start and Early Head Start provide free early childhood education – part day and full day – and family support services for expectant families and children. Services include home visits, health and dental screenings, nutrition support, social‑emotional development, and high‑quality early learning programs.

 

Mapleton Family Resource Center

The Mapleton Family Resource Center helps you get food, clothing, shoes, diapers, household supplies, and personal care items. The center also offers programs that help families build connections and support one another.

You can take part in parent classes to build skills, strengthen family relationships, and support your child’s growth.

You can also join afterschool programs, use health services through telehealth pods, and take part in programs such as a community kitchen and farmers market. These programs help you find support, connect with others, and meet your family’s needs.

McKenzie/Blue River Family Resource Center

Nurturely

What This Organization Does

Nurturely supports you during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period through education, community connection, and personalized support.

You can get one-on-one lactation support, virtual lactation education, family preparedness education, and guidance on infant feeding and newborn care.

You can also take part in programs and activities that help you bond with your baby, build confidence as a parent, and connect with other families.

Additional programs include nature walks, wildfire preparedness education, dance and movement classes, and cultural story times. These activities support family well-being, community connection, and early childhood development.

Oregon Community Programs

What This Organization Does

Oregon Community Programs (OCP) supports you and your family through behavioral health, mental health, and family support services.

You can get counseling, therapy, parent education, support groups, and specialized services for foster and kinship caregivers. These services help strengthen family relationships, build parenting skills, and support your child’s social and emotional growth.

Depending on your family’s needs, services may be provided in the office, at home, or in the community.

If you enroll in services, staff can help connect you with other programs and support that may meet your family’s needs.
