What This Organization Does
Lane County WIC helps pregnant people, parents, and caregivers get healthy food, nutrition education, and support for feeding their babies and young children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or caring for a child under age 5, you may qualify for WIC.
WIC offers breastfeeding and chestfeeding support from the beginning of your experience through weaning. You can get one-on-one support by phone or in person, join a monthly breastfeeding class, or drop in for weekly lactation support during Baby Check-in.
WIC also offers breast pump education and several pump options to meet your needs, including Hygeia and Medela pumps. Call 541-682-4202 to learn more.
